Release of Information
Reports concerning your health will not be
released to an insurance company or any third party without your written authorization.
Appointments
To make an appointment at any office, please
call (361) 854-7000.
Of necessity the physician must work by appointment; however, due to emergencies
and the unexpected, he will occasionally get behind. Infrequently your
appointment may have to be rescheduled for another day and time. We request your
patience and cooperation if this should occur.
Telephoned Medical Questions
Our clinical staff are thoroughly trained to
answer many routine medical questions. If they can't immediately assist you with a
problem, your physician will be informed. Your physician will answer routine calls at the
end of the morning or after office hours. This allows the physician to attend to his
office patients with minimum interruptions. Urgent problems are handled as soon as
possible!
Emergencies
If you have a serious medical problem after
office hours, call our office at (361) 854-7000.
Our answering service will contact one of our physicians.
One of our physicians is always on
call to respond to your ear, nose, and throat problems. In case of a life threatening
emergency, go immediately to the nearest hospital emergency room.
Prescription Refills
Please call your pharmacy for prescription
refills. Your pharmacist will call our office to get your physician's approval.
No Smoking, Drinks, Food or Gum
Many of our patients are allergic to tobacco.
Since exposure to tobacco smoke is detrimental to their health, you are asked not to smoke
in any of the offices.
Please don't bring drinks, food, or gum into
the office!
