When surgery is required, our physicians use state-of-the-art surgical procedures. In fact, they were among the first physicians in South Texas to introduce the benefits of endoscopic sinus surgery to relieve chronic sinus problems. An outpatient procedure, it is an alternative to traditional sinus surgery which results in less pain and faster recovery. The physicians at Ear, Nose, & Throat Associates of Corpus Christi were also among the first in the Southwest to be specially trained in a breakthrough snoring treatment called laser-assisted uvulopalatoplasty (LAUP). Performed in the office, LAUP cures snoring in approximately 85% of patients and significantly reduces the level of snoring for the other 15 percent. Among the other surgical procedures performed by our physicians are facial plastic surgery, head and neck surgery, and ear surgery. |
Allergy
Our staff of allied health professionals includes licensed and experienced allergy nurses who are a vital part of our healthcare team. Under the supervision of a physician, their responsibilities include the performance of intracutaneous tests with allergenic extracts to determine patients allergy sensitivities, the preparation of antigen dose vials, and the injection of patients with antigens for allergen immunotherapy. |

Ear, Nose, & Throat Associates of Corpus Christi was one of the first medical practices to have its own, on-site computed tomography (CT) system. An important diagnostic tool, the CT Scanner enables our physicians to diagnose uncertain complaints more quickly and economically in our office setting, rather than having to refer you to outside facilities. |
Audiology
Our licensed audiologists are dedicated to providing quality hearing health care. We offer complete hearing evaluations and treatment for adults, children, and infants. Advanced diagnostic testing, including nerve function, middle ear and balance testing, is also available when requested by the physician. If appropriate, the audiologist can fit hearing aids and assistive listening devices using state-of-the-art computerized technology. Protective hearing devices are also available for people whose work or recreation involves high levels of potentially damaging noise exposure. |
